As we look ahead, it’s also nice to reflect on last year’s edition. In 2024, the Ron Mandos Young Blood Award was awarded to Katarzyna Baldyga, whose abstract, layered paintings made a true impact. In keeping with tradition, Museum Voorlinden acquired one of her works for their collection. Mayte Breed received the RM Photo Talent Award, and will present her work during Unseen this year. The RM Residency Award at Brutus was shared by Michał Kucharski and Tijn Gerards, and the Public Choice Award went to Mounir Eddib, who also created the visual identity for this year’s exhibition, as shown in the image above.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday, 25 July, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. At 6:00 PM, Barbara Bos, Head of Exhibitions at Museum Voorlinden, will announce the winner of the Ron Mandos Young Blood Award 2025.

We warmly invite you to join us and celebrate the next generation of artists.
