GOVERNANCE CODE CULTURE

The Ron Mandos Young Blood Foundation applies the Governance Code Cultuur as its framework for transparent and accountable governance. The board consists of five members with complementary expertise from the art, museum and legal sectors. There is a clear separation between governance and operations: board members hold final responsibility for policy and strategy, but are not involved in the day-to-day running of the programme. The board convenes two to three times per year, with fixed agenda items including the budget, annual plan and fair practice. The annual report and financial statements are available on request by emailing info@youngbloodfoundation.org. Board members receive no remuneration for their work. Diversity is safeguarded through the broad, nationwide selection process of the BOG, which is open to artists from all Dutch art academies.
