In light of the upcoming show Best of Graduates 2023, we asked a selection of BOG alumni a few questions regarding their experience with the annual show. Marcos Kueh participated in Best of Graduates 2022, where he won the RM Young Blood Award with his work KENYALANG CIRCUS.⁠

Can you tell us about your most special project after participating in Best of Graduates?

After participating in the Best of Graduates program, I had many opportunities to make new works this year and showcase them all over the Netherlands. My favorite one so far would be the MONYET MERAH project which is currently on show in Museum Rijswijk for the Textile Biennial.

What is your most unforgettable memory of Best of Graduates?

Of course, my most unforgettable memory was winning the award and having one of my graduation works showcased in Museum Voorlinden.

Can you tell us something about a future project? What can we expect to see soon?

After having a hectic year preparing shows all over The Netherlands – from Amsterdam to Arnhem, I am currently preparing myself for international shows at the Armory Show in New York and in Tokyo for the second half of the year!
