Public Announcement: Award Winners Best of Graduates 2024
30.08.24
The Final Awards Ceremony for Best of Graduates 2024 happened today at the gallery and featured the presentation of awards by Rubiah Balsem, founder of Studio Balsem and a respected figure in the art community, being a curator, chair, and strategic advisor for various cultural institutions.
Rubiah presented the RM Photo Talent Award to Mayte Breed, the RM Residency Award at Brutus to Michał Kucharski & Tijn Gerards , and the RM Public Choice Award to Mounir Eddib. This year was exceptional, as we were thrilled to present two artists with the RM Residency Award at Brutus, highlighting the incredible talent showcased in this year’s exhibition. Rubiah also shared some words about the importance of supporting emerging artists and fostering creative talent.
‘I’d like to congratulate all artists participating this year, you are all winners! Without artists; no art, no awards, no gallery, no museum. And no summers filled with exciting exhibitions like this year’s show. Congrats to all of you!’ — Rubiah, founder Studio Balsem
We were pleased to have Rubiah with us to celebrate these talented artists and recognize their achievements. Congratulations to the winners!
Thank you to everyone who came and supported us at the awards ceremony. If you have not yet seen it, Best of Graduates 2024 features works from 24 graduates of Dutch art academies.
